Hyoscine butylbromide has been used for its antispasmodic action in the treatment of dysmenorrhoea, but the BNF considers that antispasmodics do not generally provide significant relief hence BUSCOPAN PLUS’ main action relies on Paracetamol. Recommended: Take two tablets three times a day
